I'm Back ...

Had a wonderful time in Florida.  Finally got to go to where I've always wanted to go ever since I was young (at the age of 22).
Got to spend a week's worth of time with some wonderful people that I'll never forget.

Vacations don't always let you forget about your feelings and troubles, but I guess its good to get away for a while.

Also got somewhat of a semi-tan. I would've liked to buy more things, but I didn't have the income for it all, barely had enough to even go on the trip (but it's okie), the experience was more than enough.
And even though I did get a bit sick and coughed up a few blood balls when I returned to Boston, it was all worth the while.  Guess running in out from hot weather to sleeping with the AC on, did a number on me.
However, I'd do it all over again if I were given the chance.
Who knows maybe when I finally get a stable job, I'll do this more often ^_^.

Now back to reality ... but its okie, I'm ready for ya.  ^_^

P.S. Thank you Johnny N. for taking the time to take us around. And thanks to Janet and Johnny T. for spending time with us all . ^_^

On behalf of the V.S.A. Executive Board I would like to thank all who were a part of the V.S.A. Fahrenheit Show this year.  I apologize for such a late thank you email.  Since it was such a success, I’ve been hung over celebrating. ^_^

All of the hard work and preparations really did pay off.  You all did an outstanding job and should be proud of what you’ve all accomplished.  This year, we broke the record.  Never has the V.S.A. show out of all the years been this successful.  You have all started a legacy at proving that an Asian club such as V.S.A. can host an event just as successful as Performing Arts.  There is no longer room for criticism from the great responses that we received from the audience on Friday night.

We have truly earned the respect that we truly deserve from not only the Suffolk Community but also from the Intercollegiate Vietnamese Student Association.  The C.Walsh Theatre was 95% full and the Donahue Cafeteria was filled to full capacity.  All food and drinks were completely out after the Reception.  Even the Dance Floor worked out, we didn’t think that anyone would step foot on it, but I guess everything worked out better than planned.  Wrapping up the event was right on point.  Everyone did a wonderful job at making the event a success.

None the less, all of this would not have been possible without all the help and support of you all.

Thank you to all who performed:

Such a Long list of people, I know there has to be more, but I can’t remember everyone off the top of my head.  Please let me know who and what I may have left out and I’ll add them on.

I hope you all had a memorable experience at being a part of the making of the VSA Fahrenheit of 2006.

Especially from all those long nights of practicing and preparing for that very day, I am sure you’ve all found that you’ve bonded with your fellow performers, members and volunteers.

Many people ask me, why do I put so much time into V.S.A., well its not for the perks of being called President or getting free stuff, but its for the opportunity to meet wonderful people.

After all the years, of being a part of V.S.A., I have to admit, I have never meet such a wonderful group of people in my life.  V.S.A. and the people that makes the club what it is, is what keeps me going and loving college even more.  This was the best show I’ve ever been a part of, and will be the last.  I guess all I can say is...I am proud and relieved but yet sad at the same time….  You’ve all outdone yourselves and have made my last days at Suffolk most memorable…. I’ll never forget the days we spent together …

Again thank you all, for without you… VSA Fahrenheit would not have happened.

VSA President ^_^

Dee

**P.S. : if anyone has pictures from that night, if you could can you plz send them over to me. I didn't have a camera >_<
